A familiar topic: AI implementation challenges, don't we all relate? Well, in this panel on new types of AI in Fintech, we're starting to see both nods to updates models from the 80s hidden behind the scenes, and of course some of the popular low-code interfaces for generative AI. So what are key players like Fidelity International, Allianz Technology, Advai and Nomo Fintech seeing as challenges? - Keeping up with legislation - this is a fast moving space, and it can be difficult to translate this into pragmatic decisions when the project details or delays. The EU AI Act is already adding value in this space through it's guardrails. - Finding an appropriate use case, which does not need to be GenAi, but could work much better with a deterministic model (more traditional ML models such as random forest are having a comeback) - Starting with and reviewing tasks which add value to daily work, importantly revisiting and reporting not just in the efficiency gains, but also the relevance of captured data for new insights and failures. - 'Fine and well to have the data, but you also need to have the skills to manage and curate it within the organisation' - digest the recommendations of AI analysts and engineering with input from your change and HR Managers. - The importance of leadership in shaping enterprise LLMs like Copilot to capture and enhance the value of communication and automation while lowering the risk for employees.
