Institute of Art and Law reposted this
Thrilled to announce the release of Part 2 of the “AI, Art, and Copyright” article series, which I had the privilege of co-authoring with the brilliant pierre valentin, Stephanie Drawdy and Patrick McGranaghan. I am incredibly grateful to the Institute of Art and Law (IAL) for the opportunity to contribute not one, but two articles to their Art Antiquity and Law Journals in 2024. This has been an amazing experience, and I’ve learned so much—both from the content and from my talented co-authors. It’s hard to believe that just a year ago, Pierre and I wrote our first article on generative AI and copyright together, and since then, this legal landscape has transformed at an incredible speed. Keeping pace with these changes is both challenging and exhilarating, and I’m so grateful for the chance to contribute to this critical discussion. A huge thank you to Ruth Redmond-Cooper and Alexander Herman at the IAL for their patience and support throughout this process, especially as we all worked tirelessly to ensure the article remained as up-to-date as possible. I look forward to continuing to engage with this fascinating and fast-moving area of law—and to seeing where the conversation takes us next.
