The flexible workspace industry is shifting focus—here’s where it’s headed. At the recent Global Workspace Association Immersive in NYC, Ben Wright led a panel on Flex Space Dynamics: Landlord and Operator Perspectives alongside Kate Nelson Harper, Kylie VanBuren, and Andrew Dunn. The conversation explored the changing landscape of coworking. While traditional serviced office growth is slowing, new varieties of flexibility, such as spec suites, amenity spaces, and subleases, are emerging as priorities for landlords to capitalize on the flex opportunity. These options require less upfront investment and allow landlords to meet tenant demand flexibly.
