The ICF system is an ideal choice for substructures in these types of builds, offering excellent insulation properties alongside the required strength to support the superstructure. 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 All six plots are now up to wall plate height, and the joiners are ready to move in and install the attic trusses. It’s been a fast-paced few weeks, and seeing the progress on-site has been incredibly rewarding. 🟩Completed the insulated raft foundations 🟩Built the ICF superstructure walls 🟩Reached wall plate height for all plots This project has been a real team effort, and the collaboration on-site has been second to none. The design by HALLIDAY CLARK ARCHITECTS and the engineering from Brennan Consult have made this a standout scheme to work on. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗲: 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘚𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘜𝘱𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦. In just 𝟱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, we’ve constructed and poured the ground floors for 3 detached houses, demonstrating the speed and precision we bring to every project. This video was filmed exactly one week after the footage of the foundation construction for all six plots. 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲. As we progress at our Brighouse site, we're thrilled to report that we’re running ahead of schedule! With six plots contracted for insulated raft foundations and ICF superstructure walls, we commenced work in mid October and are on track for completion before Christmas — all within a 12 week programme. We're collaborating closely with the Principal Contractor to ensure handover, ready for finishes. 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 🟩 Day 1: Blinding to formation level 🟩 Day 2: Delivery and start of insulation formwork 🟩 Day 3-4: Continued insulation formwork and start of steel fixing 🟩 Day 5-7: Completion of steel fixing 🟩 Day 6-8: Backfilling across all plots 🟩 Day 9: Concrete pour for all plots 𝗗𝟮𝗠𝟯, the developer, shared their appreciation for our professionalism and efficiency, noting, "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮." With the unwavering support of ICF Bondmor, the club has been reborn, showcasing cutting-edge construction techniques and a renewed sense of purpose. In only 15 days, 222 square metres of Thermomur ICF was erected with a total of 33 cubic metres of RC poured. We’re proud to be driving the Former Rastrick School project forward and exceeding our programme targets! It’s been a pleasure working on this scheme, and we’re especially proud to have installed the insulated raft foundations across all six plots in under two weeks. Breaking ground in mid-October, we’re now full steam ahead with the superstructure phase, constructing the insulated concrete formwork (ICF) walls that will deliver exceptional thermal performance, airtightness, and energy efficiency. We maintain steady progress as the winter months set in, giving us a significant advantage in keeping to programme, regardless of the weather. Thanks to a collaborative design process with HALLIDAY CLARK ARCHITECTS and project team, we’ve been able to minimise waste and uphold the architectural vision, all while achieving quick, high-quality construction.
