🌍 Progressing Airlander in the US 2024 saw us continue to develop our collaboration with the US Department of Defense's Operational Energy Office, entering 2025 the second year of funded study work continues. As part of our collaboration our team attended the 2024 US DoD Energy and Environment Innovation Symposium, where we: - Showcased Airlander's drone launch and recapture capabilities via VR - Engaged with stakeholders interested in integrating Airlander into their technologies - Met with US Army DEVCOM and combatant command teams to demonstrate Airlander's potential in transforming operational energy strategies Looking forward to even more innovation and collaboration in 2025! #Airlander #SustainableAviation #Innovation #USDoD #DefenseTech #HydrogenFuelCells #OperationalEnergy #FutureOfTransport

90% of Doncaster residents believe HAV will create good jobs. Over 80% of locals feel proud of the region’s role in sustainable aviation. Over 70% are excited about the 1,200 skilled roles expected from the production facility. We worked with CoFFEE (Co-Creation of Future Flight Ecosystems and Enterprise) to survey residents in Doncaster and the wider South Yorkshire region about what they thought of the planned Airlander 10 production facility in Doncaster and their thoughts on its impact on the regional economy. News: Work is underway to prepare for manufacture of Airlander in South Yorkshire and new office in central Doncaster opened We have begun survey and preparatory work on the Airlander 10 production site facility in Carcroft Common, Doncaster. This development is following the release of the first instalment of a £7m loan from South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). Production is expected to establish new supply chains within the South Yorkshire Investment Zone and open up 1,200 new, highly-skilled green jobs in the region.
