We’ve had some challenges in the form of protestors and unreliable weather but mostly we’ve had a lot of laughs and a lot of fun! Last night, our Managing Director, Becky Stevens, had the honor of speaking at The Clocktower Sanctuary's Impact Evening held PLATF9RM as a proud corporate supporter of this incredible charity. 🌟 After a warm and touching introduction from Fabia Bates CEO of the Clocktower Sanctuary, Becky shared her journey of getting involved with the charity and how Hybred Events is committed to supporting their mission. As a small business, we may not have vast financial resources, but our Hybred team contributes what we can: our time and skills. We're dedicated to writing risk assessments for the charity's fundraising events and assisting the fundraising team in making their plans a reality. Recently, we facilitated a bite-sized training session for Youth Voice—the Clocktower’s lived experience client group—focusing on event planning and how to create successful fundraising events. We're hopeful that next year, this group will host their very own event! Additionally, Becky and her family raised funds for the Sanctuary by cycling from London to Brighton this past September. 🚴♀️🚴♂️ As Becky said last night, "You don’t have to be a big business to make a big difference; you just need to do something." Our MD Becky Stevens and Charlotte W. had a great time delivering a training session to a group of The Clock Tower Sanctuary, Brighton clients this week! They worked with the group to design and plan a hypothetical event, looking at a number of aspects including: ✅ Aims and objectives of the event ✅ Venue requirements ✅ Equipment and Budgets ✅ Project planning ✅ Job roles There was a lot to fit into a few hours but the energy of the group was fantastic. Wow! That's my 12th Ealing Half Marathon done. Ealing has such a loyal following they have 'ever runners', runners who have run every year, and I'm very proud to say that I'm an 'ever eventer'. Hybred have been with Ealing since the beginning- writing the EMP's and risk assessments, attending SAG's, helping with route changes and development, providing on site safety, food trader management and running event control. I absolutely love it, the atmosphere is amazing, they have a loyal team of volunteers and is lovely. It really is the best way to end the summer season. Thank you to Sandra Courtney, Will Golder and the RaceNation team for making such a special event. Big thanks to Gemma Manvell for managing the traders and event support 🙏
