🎄 Day 12 of #12DaysofHAMeansMore 🎄 On the final day of our festive journey, we were excited to support Murphy Group’s Christmas Appeal, with the help of our Relationship Manager, John. We donated a selection of biscuits to add to their incredible effort, which has now been running for several years. Every year, Murphy Group supports a number of local charities, bringing gifts and hope to children and families in need. From chocolate and biscuits to toys, books, and board games, their appeal ensures that children have something special to open and cherish on Christmas morning. #HAMeansMore

  • 🎄 Day 11 of #12DaysofHAMeansMore 🎄 The penultimate day on our festive journey brought us to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, to support their Toy Appeal. With the help of our Commercial Director, Graham, and Huyton Asphalt Ltd Quantity Surveyor, Dale, we were able to deliver a selection of toys to help put a smile on the faces of children who will be in hospital over Christmas. The Alder Hey Toy Appeal is dedicated to ensuring that every child spending Christmas in hospital receives a gift, bringing some festive cheer during such a difficult time. Toy donations are a way to contribute towards Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, as they not only help put a smile on the faces of the children in care, but they also boost morale and brighten up the children’s wards – something that is reassuring for their families. We’re proud to be part of this incredible initiative and grateful for the hard work of the hospital staff and volunteers who make it all possible.   Rebecca Parsons   #HAMeansMore

  • 🎄 Day 8 of #12DaysofHAMeansMore 🎄 This morning, we continued spreading cheer by visiting Ian Byrne MP with our Operations Director, Scott, to deliver selection boxes in support of his Right to Food campaign.   This campaign strives to make access to food a legal right for all, hoping for change to end hunger and remove the need for foodbanks. By collaborating with local and national organisations as well as community campaigners, the goal is to boost the “Right to Food” message in law, ensuring no one in Liverpool—or beyond—goes hungry. #HAMeansMore

🎄 Day 7 of #12DaysofHAMeansMore 🎄 Today, our Contracts Manager Alex lent a helping hand with donations to St Helens Foster Carers. We were delighted to contribute by donating items to go into the family gift hampers that will be handed out during their upcoming awards and celebration evening in January. After last year’s huge success, the night will again celebrate the foster carers and their incredible dedication to supporting those in care, as well as an awards ceremony for both the children and their carers. It’s a small way to express our appreciation for the hard work and love these carers pour into their roles, making such a positive impact on so many lives.   St Helens Council #HAMeansMore

  • 🎄 Day 6 of #12DaysofHAMeansMore 🎄 Today we paid a visit to John Smiths Helping Hands, a community-focused group based in St Helens, established by Marie and her mother, Marcella, in memory of their father and husband, John, who passed away from dementia. With around 80 members, this incredible initiative supports individuals living with dementia and elderly people in the local community who may feel isolated. The group offers a welcoming space for members to enjoy refreshments, participate in activities, and even join in on exciting days out throughout the year. With the help of our Purchase Ledger Sandra, we donated items for their upcoming raffle, spreading a little extra joy this festive season.   John Smith’s Helping Hands is a true testament to the power of community, turning personal loss into a source of comfort and connection for others. #HAMeansMore
