Ah, the magical time between Christmas and New Year. Where the days blur together, and the biggest decision is: savoury or sweet for breakfast? (Spoiler: the correct answer is both, with a side of coffee.) It’s peaceful. Restful. Maybe even joyful. Unless, of course, your mind keeps wandering to what awaits you in January. That pile of emails. The same old meetings. The "new year, same stress" treadmill. Here’s the thing: maintaining this feeling—the calm, the clarity, the sweetness of choice without overwhelm—doesn’t have to vanish when January rolls around. But it does require doing something differently. If you’re an HR professional who’s tired of being stuck in reactive mode, feeling like your role is running you instead of the other way around, this is your nudge to change that. Our 'Redefine' course is designed to help you redefine your relationship with your work—so you can approach 2024 with the tools, mindset, and confidence to lead in HR differently (and dare I say it, with joy). So here’s the real decision for today: savoury, sweet, or sign up for the course that will help you work sustainably in HR in 2025. All the deets are here: https://lnkd.in/egaMkY-A. You deserve a new year that feels as good as this in-between week does. Let’s make it happen. #HR #NewYearNewYou #RestedAndReady #HRTransformation

Dear Santa, I have been working really hard this year in my job as an HR Superstar. I have done my best to help people, despite some really difficult circumstances and decisions taken outside of my control. I don't often ask for things for myself Santa, I'm used to putting everyone else first before me, but this year, I'd really like my business to notice my contribution. I always try to create the best experience for people so that they have a good time when they come to work. I can't be everywhere like you Santa, but believe me, I try. If you grant me my Christmas wish Santa, I'd be so grateful. HR Superstar x -------------------------------- Dear HR Superstar, I can see how hard you've been working and I ho ho hope you know that even if people don't always say it, you really have made a difference to many people's lives this year. I'm afraid making people do things is outside of my magical abilities, but I happened to hear about these awards that are happening in April 2025, and I wondered if you might like to apply? Simply send an example of your great work to the British HR Awards before 17 January 2025, and their esteemed panel will take a look and you never know, you may just be the winner! There are lots of categories to choose from, I'm sure there'll be something that fits. It's snow joke waiting for other people to recognise your work, so grab those sleigh reins and go for it yourself! Merry Christmas, Santa 🎅

Now we're not normally 'about' the technical side of HR, but if we know one thing it's that you lot LOVE some technical HR stuff! Admit it, it's OK, we're all in it together. That's why we're happy to share this resource from CIPD HR-inform all about the Employment Rights Bill, which we hear is a bit of a big deal about the place at the moment 😉 But ever one to do it our way, let us offer you this one thing. Rather than trying to read and digest this in amongst all the other twenty trillion things you have on your mind why not switch off your emails, close your door. Grab a cuppa and take a moment of peace to give it your full attention. And always, always remember: it's OK to not know the answer 🥰 Grab your resource here: https://lnkd.in/eP8t4KGt

Could we BE anymore excited?! We are delighted to be partnering with the British HR Awards 2025! Let's face it, as HR pros it's not often people are falling over themselves to celebrate (or let's face it, even acknowledge) the work that we do, and so much of the real game changing work we do flies under the radar. So when the opportunity comes up to be involved in an event that is on a quest to discover and celebrate the individuals, teams and suppliers that are passionate about delivering a world-class people experience, you know we're going all in. What we love about these awards is that you don't have to pay to take part, so there's no scrounging and scrimping to the boss before you've even got going - you can simply enter, showcase your brilliance and sashay back into the office like the superstar you are 🤩 Nominations open on 18th November and there are HEAPS of categories so plenty of opportunities to get recognition for the great work you're doing. We'd love to see you put yourself forward and have the chance to celebrate with you in April! Heck, why wait! What are you celebrating today? Let us know in the comments and let's get this party started 🥳

Our whole reason for being is to help women in HR have their biggest impact. Full stop. We think you're key to changing the world of work for everyone. For the last two and a half years, the way we've been doing that is through a paid membership called 'The HR Club'. The HR Club was set up for change. It was set up for providing the support, development and connection that so many of us lack as HR professionals. Support - tick. Connection - tick. Change and development - ? Now we're not saying things haven't changed for women who've thrown themselves into the Club - some of the results have been amazing to witness. But it remains hard for women in HR to prioritise change for themselves in the context in which we operate - and a self-directed learning intervention doesn't feel the right container for the kind of change some of us need. Do we believe in the power of you, sustainably unstoppable? 100% yes. Do we believe in us becoming humans. resourced. to have our maximum impact in the world? Not a doubt in our minds. And it's for all these reasons that we've recognised the need for something different. Because sometimes having our biggest impact looks like walking away. It looks like leaving the thing you've invested so much of yourself in. It looks like accepting that it's not working, which isn't a failure on your part, it's just the way things are right now. We shift. We refocus. We move on. We do the best with what we have available. We trust. We act. We learn. And instead of running away, we move forward with purpose. That's why, from here on in, The HR Club as a paid membership no longer exists for new members, and we're shifting our focus to bring you learning resources as and when you need them. But you're in the wrong place if you think we're going to be teaching you the technical stuff to do with HR 🤢 Nope. We're focused on resourcing you as humans which means you can call on us for content designed to build your confidence, get clarity to take control of your career and get the courage to go out and do it 💪 Thank you to everyone who has been part of, or supported The HR Club since we started. We hope you stick around as we enter this new phase of our being ❤️ How about we get started right now?! What's your biggest challenge as a human in HR right now? Hit us up with your thoughts 👇
