We were shocked by these results ⬇ “How long does it take to get a quote back from your IT supplier?” We ran this poll last week and couldn’t believe the results: - Only 1 company receives quotes back in under 1 hour - No respondents receive quotes back in 1-2 hours - The remaining companies all receive quotes back in either 2-8 hours or in over 8 hours We were amazed by this. IT teams are incredibly busy supporting users, and the demands of most businesses mean that IT cannot wait multiple hours or days for quotes. A slow quote response means even if the quote is sent back the same day, the customer may not be able to order in time for the supplier to ship the goods for next-day delivery. This can be catastrophic for urgent requirements.
