Job Title: Reinsurance Accounting Manager / Senior Manager of Reinsurance Accounting Location: London We are thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity for an experienced professional in the Ceded Reinsurance domain. If you have accounting and reporting, and a strong background in managing reinsurance activities, this role is perfect for you! Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of Ceded Reinsurance accounting operations, including reinsurance premiums, commissions, and losses/recoveries. Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and external audits. Manage cash allocation, intercompany transactions, account closing, and financial statement preparation. Reconcile reinsurance activities and work closely with the Outward Reinsurance team. Implement automation to streamline manual processes. Develop and maintain client relationships and manage the transition process for new clients. Collaborate with the business development team on expansion projects. Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance. Conduct team appraisals and provide feedback. Qualifications and Skills: Strong, indepth experience in accounting, financial, and regulatory reporting. CA/CPA/ACCA certification. In-depth knowledge of insurance and reinsurance accounting and reporting. Experience in team management and working with international clients. Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, and MS Access is desirable. Our client is undertaking significant Finance transformation and is in need of a strong Data Analyst to support this initiative. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis Utilise Power BI to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.  Financial Reporting Support the Finance Change transformation with detailed financial reporting, analysis and visualisation. The focus will be on enhancing data analysis, visualisation, linage and reconciliations within the finance operational processes Collaboration Work closely with finance teams and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
