  • 30 years of changing lives 👏 The National Lottery celebrates its 30th Birthday this year and has raised over £50 billion for good causes across the UK. Since the first draw took place on 19 November 1994, The National Lottery has played a pivotal role in revitalising the nation’s heritage, transforming iconic institutions, and making a meaningful impact in communities across the country. Thank you to the volunteers, game changers, and communities who have contributed to this incredible journey. Let’s continue to create a lasting impact for generations to come.   • We're feeling the Christmas spirit! ✨ In Renfrewshire, Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust has been awarded #NationalLottery support for plans to purchase a former parish church and save it for the local community. ⛪ 📽️ In this short film, meet some of the people behind the project. We’ve awarded £1.25m for eight places of worship.    In Renfrewshire, Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust has been awarded National Lottery support for plans to purchase a former parish church and save it for the local community.    In the North York Moors National Park, All Saints Church in Helmsley has secured #NationalLottery support for plans to conserve its stunning Edwardian wall paintings and create opportunities for traditional skills development.    In Newcastle, two Jesmond churches have been awarded support to save two rare T.C Lewis pipe organs and to connect the two churches and their communities.    Read more about the awards and our initiative to support places of worship across the UK 👉 https://lnkd.in/ewfDYrpV
