From all of us at #HelpingRhinos we would like to wish our wonderful supporters a very #MerryChristmas 🎄 Thank you for all your support in 2024, we couldn't do any of this without you 🙏

Thanks to your support in 2024 we have achieved some great successes for #rhino 🦏 We have cared for more #rhinoorphans than ever before with the Zululand Rhino Orphanage. Kept rhinos safe through aerial surveillance with our Eyes in the Sky programme. Kept the Black Mambas Anti-Poaching Unit crime prevention unit on patrol, built a school and expanded habitats with the Kariega Foundation and protected the world's largest population of eastern #blackrhino with Ol Pejeta Conservancy. None of this is possible with you, our supporters, so thank you for making a difference to our #conservation work across Africa. Together we can make even more progress and have even more of an impact in 2025 🙏

QUESTION: Where would you rather be? It’s the last full working week before the Christmas holidays and I’ll be at my desk in a cold, dreary and damp U.K. all week wrapping up end of year for Helping Rhinos. But I would much prefer to be in my ‘office in the bush’ watching rhinos do their thing! #africa #rhinos #officeinthebush #helpingrhinos #rhinostrongholds #everyrhinocounts #christmascountdown

Choosing an ethical #Christmas gift can feel impossible, but we're here to help 🎄 No matter whether you adopt a #rhinoorphan, one of the last two #northernwhiterhinos in the world, an #antipoaching Dog Pack, #rhinopoaching survivor Thandi and her Family or sponsor a Black Mambas Patrol or Bush Babies Environmental Education lesson, you'll be supporting vital #conservation work right across Africa 🦏 And adoptions aren't just for individuals - adoptions are a great way to show your company is giving back and making a difference. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/erTdvJJ2

I seriously cannot begin to describe how inspirational my time with the Black Mambas Anti-Poaching Unit was. They’re the only all-female anti poaching unit in the world - and unarmed! It was truly an honor to sit down with Felicia Mogakane, one of the original Black Mambas. The conservation and community work they’re doing is nothing short of extraordinary, and it blew me away to learn that no rhino has been killed since the Black Mambas unit was created in 2013. We are so proud at Intrepid Travel to support the work of these incredible women and the Helping Rhinos charity they form part of, and I’m so pleased our customers can have the same experience as I did. #OnlyIntrepid

Three Namibian Conservancies are campaigning against the construction of a tin mine that they say will threaten the area's established eco-tourism industry, which centres around the #conservation of the critically endangered #blackrhino
