As 2024 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect back on a whirlwind of a year at HECK! From a brand refresh back in February to sustainability and community engagement (and plenty of sausages!), this year has been jam-packed for the team at HECK! and we’ve loved every minute of it. Take a look back at our incredible year…

We’re delighted that our Men’s Heath drive in November raised an incredible £20,000 for @CahonasScotland. We rebranded our best-selling Chicken Italia to CHECK!,  helped to spread the word about how to check and our co-founder Jamie opened up about his own testicular cancer diagnosis.

Last week we held our Christmas Community Lunch at HECK! HQ. It’s an opportunity for us to give something back to the community in our area and it’s always a pleasure to chat with everyone. We served up a Christmas dinner - complete with pigs in blankets of course - followed by Christmas Pud and Chocolate Roulade all washed done with a baileys and a brew! We even put some new dates in the diary for the community bus in the New Year too 🚐

Caring for our team extends beyond the workplace, which is why we’ve been offering free workplace health checks to employees at HECK! HQ. As part of Men’s Health Month we ran two sessions for employees and the local community, targeting heart disease, diabetes and kidney disease as well as common cancers such as testicular, prostate, breast and ovarian. This month we’re talking all things mens health and testicular cancer 🥜🎾👑 One of our Co-Founders, Jamie Keeble, was diagnosed with testicular cancer at just 24. With courage and determination, Jamie got checked, received the treatment he needed, and today, he’s a reminder that early action saves lives. But now we’re on a mission to encourage all men to CHECK! Testicular affects 2,300 men in the UK every year, but our research shows that almost one in four British men are steering clear of checking themselves because they don’t know how to do it properly. That’s why we’ve teamed up Cahonas Scotland to raise awareness and help teach men how to check.
