About us
Healthcare Communications partner with 130 NHS Trusts to deliver digital first and socially inclusive patient communications across multiple engagement channels. We focus on excelling in Appointment Management and Patient experience surveys at every touchpoint along the pathway, including post discharge and underpinning every part of our operations is absolute data security. We send over 130 million secure patient communications on behalf of our healthcare partners. Our multi-award winning Patient Engagement Portal is live in 80 UK hospitals and instantly delivers appointment letters, test results and outcome summaries straight to patient smartphones. Our platform automatically switches to another channel to reach those not digitally enabled and digital content coverts to 102 languages and can be read out loud in over 40, to ensure every patient can understand important information about their healthcare. Patients can complete eTriage, waiting list validation and pre-assessment forms remotely, from the comfort of their home and initiate personal follow up appointments via their mobile or channel preference. We empower patients to self-manage their health with AI powered technology that personalises communications, improves access to care and delivers exceptional operational efficiencies at scale.

A Digital Health snapshot report analysing the #digitalmaturity of NHS acute trusts shows that the number of trusts to reach the highest level has risen by more than 30% since their 2023 report. The report also shows that some trusts have moved away from HIMSS models because of the increasing prominence of #NHS specific frameworks like the Digital Maturity Assessment and Digital Capabilities Framework. 75% of the public support sharing their personal #healthdata for the development of #AI systems in the NHS, according to a #survey commissioned by The Health Foundation of more than 7,000 people. The UK-wide polling found a majority were willing to share data on areas such as their eye health (59%), medicines they are taking (58%) and any long-term illnesses they live with (57%). However, the results found less willingness to share some types of data, with only 47% willing to share smart phone tracked data such as sleep activity and 44% willing to share sexual health information.
