Headway Capital Partners is delighted to announce its latest exit in HIP IV further to Cadence Equity Partners' successful completion on the sale of its holding in Aquam Water Services (“AWS”) together with its sister company Orbis Intelligent Systems to CD&R backed Indicor Inc. Headway partnered with Cadence in summer 2020 to acquire AWS and Orbis from Aquam Corporation. AWS and Orbis together serve as a leading provider of outsourcing services and technology to UK water utilities for the rental of standpipes used to facilitate temporary access to the water network. The group additionally develops smart technologies for remote water network monitoring and leakage detection. Since acquisition, AWS has completed the roll-out of its smart sensors across its entire UK standpipe business. The group has significantly accelerated R&D, has achieved significant organic growth, and is positioned for substantial further development, particularly in the US, where Orbis already serves multiple municipal water companies.
