  • As 2024 draws to a close, we at Hatch Digital are proud to reflect on a year of meaningful milestones and impactful initiatives. 💪 Empowering Women in Tech 💪 At the start of the year, we set an ambitious goal with our #2024in2024 campaign: to train and place 2,024 women in tech careers. While we didn’t quite reach the target this year, the initiative continues to drive us forward. With #2025in2025 ahead, our commitment to breaking barriers and making tech careers accessible for women remains stronger than ever. 🖥️ Prison Tech Academies 🖥️ This year marked a major milestone as we launched the first assessment pilot for our Prison Tech Academies. After months of learning, navigating challenges, and forging new paths, we saw the vision come to life. None of this would have been possible without the incredible, collaboration, support and dedication of our partners. These organisations do phenomenal work within the criminal justice system and they're naturally aligned to our work across prison education & employability. ✨ Rebooted restores & re-purposes recycled devices to connect prisoners & their families to digital learning & other crucial shared experiences. The ambitions behind this charity are huge and thoroughly rooted in compassion & humanity. ✨ Beating Time helps people survive their prison sentence and thrive on release. From improving mental health and building social inclusion to finding & creating employment for those serving sentences, the work they do is vital in helping people put prison behind them and build the lives they want to live.     I am excited (and terrified) to share the JustGiving pages for my upcoming marathon in April. I have chosen two fantastic charities to fundraise for: Rebooted and Beating Time. These organisations do incredible work across the criminal justice system and they're naturally aligned to our work across prison education & employability through Hatch Digital. Rebooted restores & re-purposes recycled devices to connect prisoners & their families to digital learning & other crucial shared experiences. The ambitions behind this charity are huge and thoroughly rooted in compassion & humanity. Beating Time helps people survive their prison sentence and thrive on release. From improving mental health and building social inclusion to finding & creating employment for those serving sentences, the work they do is vital in helping people put prison behind them and build the lives they want to live.
