Huge day for #IceHockey in #London, as the Haringey Huskies in partnership with Alexandra Palace and Park, have announced the launch of their first women's team - the #HaringeyGreyhounds, and of course Key & Eagle Digital Media were on hand to help with the branding & launch. The name Greyhounds has long been associated with Ice Hockey in Haringey, with the first men's team to bear the name playing out of the old Haringey Arena from 1930 to 1949 (with no play between 1940 to 1945). Then, once Alexandra Palace opened their new #IceRink, the Greyhounds reformed in 1994, competing for a full 16 years before disbanding in 2010. However in September of this year, the Greyhounds will take to the ice as a women's team, competing in the England Ice Hockey's #WNIHL South 2 league. Huskies GM Lee Mercer will be joined by Kirsty Bard & Olga Glazer in running the side, whilst Key & Eagle will assist with their digital & physical marketing needs. We have been working on the branding for the club for a while now, and couldn't be more happy with the results. Joshua Day & Orion Taylor did a fantastic job of bringing together a brand that's strongly influenced by the Huskies, but can stand on its own. The past couple of weeks has seen myself and members of the Key & Eagle Digital Media team, travelling all over the country for meetings, events & sporting fixtures - Enough to make anyones calendar look full! Personal highlights include the first Macclesfield Football Club #BusinessNetwork meeting (which Bob Trafford pulled off flawlessly), the launch of the Haringey Huskies new bespoke #website (+ new 3 year #Sponsorship deal) and taking my sports-mad Niece along to her first ever #IceHockey match, a 3-1 win for #GreatBritain over #Poland at Planet Ice #Leeds! Whilst many of the sport teams we work with, are seeing their seasons come to a close, #KeyAndEagle are busy as ever with our non-sport clients. With new #websites & digital service contracts coming in weekly, it is heartwarming to see the growth of the company over the last few years. Here's to many more…
