Part of their extensive Dutch Active Travel Kerb range, these tiles provide a safe and practical solution for EV owners without off-street parking, enabling efficient roadside charging while maintaining pedestrian safety. The EV Cable Tray Tiles are designed to integrate seamlessly into existing pavements, offering a discreet channel for charging cables. This design ensures minimal disruption to pedestrian pathways and aligns with the government's initiative to support the growing number of EV drivers who rely on on-street parking. Impact etched granite inlayed into some beautiful Forest of Dean Stone Firms Ltd mixed colour Pennant quarry blocks. Credit to HED for the design and Kier Group for your business. I cannot wait to see these installed on your project. The bar continues to be raised by designers and we certainly enjoy the challenge!

We are thrilled to share the success of Hardscape’s Christmas Toy Appeal in support of Bolton Lions Club who are part of Lions Clubs International. This year, we had the honour of welcoming Bolton Lions President, Sandra Crompton, to our head office, where she personally collected the generous toy donations from our incredible team. During her visit, Sandra presented Hardscape with a Certificate of Appreciation, recognising our collective efforts to bring joy to less fortunate children during the festive season. Our Charity and Social Committee members, Erin Buller and Victoria Sharrocks, spearheaded this heart warming initiative, and the overwhelming response from colleagues truly exemplifies the values we hold dear; compassion, community, and making a positive impact. ‘ELECTRON MICROSCOPE PAVING’ is part of a series of section 106 planning agreement artworks positioned strategically throughout the MILL ROAD, IRON WORKS social housing development for CAMBRIDGE INVESTMENT PARTNERS / Hill Group UK. Employing ETCHED and SANDBLASTED GRANITE, the artwork celebrates the Cambridge designed electron microscope. The ‘Stereoscan’ was the first commercial scanning electron microscope in the world. It could magnify up to around 100,000 times. It was developed at the University of Cambridge’s Engineering department in 1965. It was named ‘one of the 100 most significant new technical products of the year’. For the public art project, It was great to investigate residential, commercial and industrial switches as part of research into the former and present communities and occupations in Petersfield. Initially inspired by the objects on display at the Cambridge Museum of Technology, from electrical engineering to the switch that turns on our kettle!
