GuestReady Stories: Thomas G. Thomas’ journey at GuestReady is a story of re-invention. Before joining us, Thomas spent seven years running his own bakery, but his love for new challenges led him to switch gears and pursue software engineering. Starting as an intern, he quickly became a valuable part of our team, contributing to exciting projects that help drive our success. One of the projects Thomas is most proud of is the feature he developed to propagate our listings to Google platforms, generating more direct bookings. For him, the challenge of constantly overcoming new obstacles is one of the things that makes software engineering so rewarding. What sets GuestReady apart for Thomas is the company’s culture of transparency. He values the frequent company-wide meetings where leadership shares the roadmap and answers questions openly. For him, this transparent approach builds trust and makes everyone feel included in the company’s journey. Thomas also values the work-life balance GuestReady supports. “The excellent communication between managers and colleagues allows us to cover for each other in unexpected situations,” he says. “And as someone who loves to travel, it’s been amazing to have the flexibility to do so without compromising my work.” Looking to the future, Thomas is excited about his growth within the company. He’s eager to continue developing his skills and progress toward becoming a senior full-stack developer. We’re proud to have Thomas on our team. His journey from bakery owner to software engineer shows that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and we can’t wait to see where his career will go next!

Dannika, one of our standout leaders in Dubai, exemplifies this beautifully. Her journey with us is inspiring, and we wanted to share her story to highlight how she’s helped shape our company culture and leadership. When Dannika joined GuestReady, she was excited to join a company that actively champions gender equality. “I’m proud to be part of an organisation where gender, ethnicity, and age are not barriers to success,” she shares. The company value that resonates with her the most is “Better Together.” For Dannika, collaboration goes beyond her own team—she’s passionate about helping other teams succeed too. “It’s not just about supporting your own team but lifting everyone around you,” she says. One of her proudest moments at GuestReady were the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. She recalls how the small Dubai team managed to navigate this uncertain time. “We managed over 100 properties with a team of just seven,” she says. “It was tough, but we came out of it stronger, more united, and ready for success.” Dannika’s own journey reflects GuestReady’s commitment to internal growth.
