In the third of our “2024 Unwrapped” highlights, we couldn’t miss celebrating the latest milestone for 9H-GLOBL. October was a huge month for Global Airlines. 9H-GLOBL flew from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport to Dresden, Germany, where the amazing team at Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH welcomed her into her new home — a massive, awe-inspiring hangar. Once safely inside, she immediately began the next stage of heavy maintenance. It’s always incredible to see this aircraft take flight, but watching her land in Dresden was particularly mesmerising. In the second of our “2024 Unwrapped” highlights, we’re reliving that unforgettable moment, back in May, when 9H-GLOBL touched down at Glasgow Prestwick International Airport after its historic journey from Mojave, USA. This marked Global Airlines’ first transatlantic and transcontinental flight. It was a day made possible only by the incredible effort of numerous partners and companies who all worked tirelessly to prepare for this monumental milestone.
