It has been a year of renewed connections, strengthened partnerships, and shared progress within the UK and the global community. Highlights of Our Year 🌍 Diplomatic Engagements: From high-level visits to multilateral forums, we have had the privilege of advancing dialogue on key issues such as global access to #vaccines, #science, #AI, #HumanRights and #inclusion. Our engagements have fostered greater understanding and deeper #collaboration with our partners. 🤝 Scientific Cooperation: This year, we have both organised and taken part in some incredible seminars and discussions focused on highlighting our region’s scientific ecosystem — the engagement of our key players, experts and researchers is a testament to our shared commitment to #LifeSciences, #MedTech, #ATMPs, #ArtificialIntelligence and #CleanTech. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing this incredibly vital work in the coming years. 🎉 Community and Cultural Diplomacy: Our cultural initiatives brought us closer to the people of the United Kingdom. From our .BE PROUD event, walking the #LondonPride parade alongside Diplomats for Equality, our support of initiatives bringing Southern Belgian cultural players like RTBF, Fifty Lab and Dour Festival to the UK, and taking part of events like WOMEX - Worldwide | Music | Expo and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we wish to celebrated the bonds that unite us across borders! In the year ahead, we aim to deepen our cooperation and continue fostering connections between our people and communities. #Diplomacy is a long journey, but every step forward counts.
