About us
We understand family matters. FM Family Law is the largest specialist family law firm in East Anglia, with offices in Cambridge, Norwich and Newmarket. We advise on all aspects of family law. As family law specialists, we can advise and support clients with any matters arising from separation or divorce/dissolution. We can work with clients to agree a financial settlement following a relationship breakdown and can support clients in agreeing the care arrangements for any child or children. We are also able to support clients at the start of their relationship who want to have certainty regarding their financial relationship. We can advise about prenuptial agreements, post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. We have family mediators at FM Family Law. As mediators, we work with couples to help them agree a way forward in their separation. We can also support clients with arbitration, the collaborative process, or Resolution Together as alternative resolution methods. We work flexibly with all our clients, providing a service which meets the individual needs of their family. At FM Family Law, we are all proud to be members of Resolution, a national organisation which promotes a constructive approach to separation.

This morning Carla Morphett and Laura Tuddenham attended the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation ‘Friends of the Foundation’ breakfast held at The Nest as part of the Foundation’s #ThankingWeek. It was great to catch up with our contacts and to meet other partners and supporters of the Foundation. We saw first-hand how everyone’s involvement with the Foundation makes a real impact on the local community, and we heard some of the touching stories from those who the Foundation have helped. Thank you to the Foundation for your hospitality as always, and for our supporter’s plaque - which is proudly on display in our office! #norwich Martha Casey Lindsay Michiels Ian Thornton OBE

Last Friday FM Family Law had the pleasure of attending the YPG Annual Charity Ball. Guests were well looked after and entertained, with the YPG Ball traditional game of 'heads or tails', followed by a raffle with fabulous prizes to be won, and a rather competitive auction - all effortlessly compered by the YPG committee. It was very moving to see everyone giving generously on the night and raising an incredible £7️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ for Break Charity, a very worthy cause that provides vital support to vulnerable young people. The largest YPG Ball yet with over 215 young professionals attending, huge congratulations to the committee for organising such a fantastic evening - including our very own Laura Tuddenham. #norwich #YPGBall Carla Morphett Laura Clay-Harris Norfolk YPG

20 years younger? Yes there are days I wish I was! And Today is one of them. Caitlin Levins and FM Family Law will be hosting a discussion evening with our esteemed family law High Court Judge His Honour Judge Chaudhuri. The catch is you’ll be up to 10 years PQE. So that rules me out! But that really is the point of this function. You’ll be still learning the trade and you’ll feel able to ask any questions - the silly and not so silly - of our esteemed Judge. If you’ve not signed up please contact Caitlin (or DM me). Doors open 6pm for 630 start.
