Exciting news! We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s oldest housing associations, The Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) Limited (IDS) ✍️ IDS was formed in 1885 by a group of philanthropists aiming to relieve overcrowding in East End London homes. Today it manages over 1,500 homes🏘️ Over the next five years, we’ll provide digital repairs and maintenance for all IDS properties. This will play a critical role in the organisation’s digital transformation strategy. IDS already knows the power of EVO’s digital platform following a very successful pilot project. Residents involved loved our: ✔️ Quick response times ✔️ Quality workmanship ✔️ Excellent communication ✔️ Easy-to-use app ✔️ Overall service We look forward to a successful 2025 with IDS!

🔎 Inside Housing has recently released its analysis of the first year of TSMs - and the results are not where the industry would want them to be. But what can housing associations do? 🤷♂️ Average ratings for overall satisfaction and repairs are only around 70%. That means a large number of residents are unhappy with their landlords. We believe under-performing landlords can improve by: 🏠 Responding quickly to repair requests and providing high-quality work. 🏠 Improving communication with residents. We’ve been helping landlords achieve this. Take a look at the slideshow below to find out how. 👇 #insidehousing #tsms #socialhousing

🔎 Inside Housing has released its analysis on Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) - and the results leave much room for improvement. The publication looked at TSM data from 203 social housing providers. It focused on three key areas: 🔎 Satisfaction 🔎 Repairs 🔎 Complaint handling Take a look at the headline figures in the image below. 👇 The results for repairs and satisfaction may seem good. But they still leave around 30% of residents unhappy with the quality of their homes. 😞 This represents hundreds of thousands of homes, many of which will house vulnerable people and children. How can they improve this? One way is to prioritise resident satisfaction over focussing on cost. What do you think of these TSM results? Is there more social landlords can do to improve them? 💬 Let us know in the comments below. #insidehousing #tsms #socialhousing

Renters' Rights Bill: How are Labour’s plans for private rented housing different?

The Renters Rights Bill has been introduced to Parliament. ⚖️ But why does the private rented housing sector need reform? Around 4.5 million households live in privately rented accommodation. 🏠 Of those around a fifth are unhappy with their home. ☹️ That represents around 3 million people. Many will be children. 👨👧 This is unacceptable. But it’s also a growing problem. The cost of buying a house means more people are renting for longer. But what are the problems facing renters? We’ve listed some of them in the slideshow below. 👇
