What role could hydrogen and fuel cells play in a future energy system? I have observed that many large estates have tenant crop farmers working the land who struggle to make ends meet. The British Isles, sitting in the northern hemisphere, creates its own unpredictable weather patterns which does not guarantee the efforts for any seasonal crop. That alongside a fear of EU subsidies being withdrawn, through Brexit, but not necessarily being replaced, to the same capacity, by the UK Government and the fact that it costs approximately £150/acre to produce a crop that typically sells at £210/acre means that margins are tight even in a good weather season. evin.uk ⚡️ would like to design a #greenhydrogen production experiment with innovative companies from #hydrogenelectrolyser #hydrogenfuelcell and #solarpv sectors to create modular solutions, which are robust and resilient and able to operate in a wide range of climatic conditions but equally lightweight enough to be viable for deployment on mobile platforms (land-based vehicles) in order to be easily deployed onto #farmland If evin.uk can guarantee rental to the tenant farmer for the land used then the farmer does not need to be concerned about weather or subsidies on, at least, the lorry accessible 50 acres or so with water supply, being utilised. If the farmer is using diesel generation then these could also possibly be replaced by a #hydrogenfuelcell to produce clean energy for consumption. If you are a UK based crop farmer or you are involved within the hydrogen sector or solar pv (or #decommissioning / #recycling older solar pv units) and want to collaborate in this experiment with evin.uk it would be great if you made contact and shared your thoughts in the comments section below. Land & Property: Sourcing/Developing locations to advance the UK commitment to renewable energy solutions ⚡️
About us
Welcome to evin.uk : Evolution Infrastructure UK evin.uk is an independent, UK-based company sourcing and developing innovative energy projects in the rapidly evolving hydrogen and electricity sectors. evin.uk's primary business focus lies in solutions for green hydrogen production, grid stability, renewable and energy storage project development. To meet the UK Government’s Net Zero target, the development of hydrogen electrolysis facilities located at strategic locations around the UK will be required to meet the needs within the industrial and transport sectors. We are part of the net-carbon revolution. evin.uk act as land brokers all over the UK seeking out land from roadside development sites from 0.5 acres upwards next to busy arterial roads to install EV (Electric Vehicle) charging facilities to put an end to ‘range anxiety’ and build a road to a greener world to looking for locations for science parks, technology centers and institutions championing advancements in Earth's sustainability through design, research and development. Finding off-market land opportunities suitable for construction to create a 'mobility, energy and retail experience' is currently in demand but the need must also extend to a range of infrastructure incentives to support the national grid with green initiatives. As the Government has announced that no new petrol/diesel vehicles can be sold on forecourts from 2030.. time is ticking… and the infrastructure to meet this objective requires a massive national undertaking. evin.uk wants to play its part to enable a clean future for our environment by providing EV charging and Green Hydrogen / Methanol infrastructure and assisting the promotion of mass uptake and use of electric vehicles, green energy consumption and a responsible approach to sustainability.
