A little birdy told me that... Ethical Bedding are trying to get hold of someone at MADE.COM. We used to sell through their platform back in 2022 and had just ramped up in terms of product range before they ran into difficulties and acquired by Next. Keen to re-establish the connection and get the brand back on board. We have everything ready to go in terms of repeatable onboarding, audit reports etc. There might even be a heap of images and creatives from the previous relationship which will speed things up. Does anyone know any of the buyers or senior team there to expedite the process please? I always thought I would build my own home someday… But I never thought I would be lucky enough to build an entire village! 💫 Creativity is the single thing that I enjoy most about entrepreneurship. Ethical Bedding was entirely bootstrapped up until last year. During the first year of concept thorough to MVP it was just me doing everything. From product design, finance, web dev, email marketing, etc. (Looking back I have no idea how I managed to do everything alone for so long - so maximum respect to those starting out on their journey!) I feel so blessed to have such incredible people around me in other businesses now. This is becoming increasingly clear at Trinitas with the passion, determination and inventiveness of those around me. I absolutely ADORE being the most stupid person in the room at our architectural planning meetings. It’s so wonderful! Reminds me of my early days in banking where I felt able to ask really dumb (but logic based) questions about things to progress my understanding and shape the project. What we are building is truly remarkable and will be celebrated as landmark project in Bali (my second home). It’s not that difficult to create special things in life or business with the correct level of thoughtfulness and backed by an unshakable and laser focused approach on doing what is right. I honestly cannot wait to share more design details in the weeks and months ahead. And I’m kind of hoping that some of the people reading this might end up living here for at least part of the year.
