Advancing cancer immunotherapy by targeting the unconventional
About us
Enara Bio is shining a light on Dark Antigen® and T-cell biology to develop cancer immunotherapies designed to improve treatment outcomes for broad populations of cancer patients. Our pioneering EDAPT® platform enables us to discover novel cancer-specific antigens from previously uncharted genomic ‘dark matter’. The result is a growing database of Dark Antigens that can address the unmet need for cancer-specific targets that are homogenously expressed and highly prevalent in solid tumors. We are advancing multiple approaches to exploit these Dark Antigen targets, with an internal focus on TCR-directed immunotherapies, and additional therapeutic partnerships with Boehringer Ingelheim and another undisclosed global pharmaceutical company. Based in Oxford, UK, Enara Bio is backed by RA Capital, Samsara Biocapital and SV Health Investors. We are thrilled to announce the closing of our $32.5 million Series B financing! The financing was co-led by two new strategic investors, Pfizer Ventures and M Ventures . All existing investors also joined the round – RA Capital Management, Samsara BioCapital and SV Health Investors – along with participation from the The Francis Crick Institute. The funding allows us to continue our pioneering research on Dark Antigens – a novel class of shared cancer antigens – and rapidly advance our pipeline of TCR-based immunotherapies against these exciting new targets. Last week, it was a great pleasure to host a work placement experience and welcome several students from the In2STEM summer programme for a second year. At Enara Bio, we are deeply committed to diversity and social mobility and were delighted to share our insights and experiences on the wide range of STEM career paths that are available to all students regardless of their backgrounds. The students had the opportunity to observe the groundbreaking research in our labs and enjoyed several workshops with colleagues from different roles across our organisation. It was inspiring to hear about their future aspirations in STEM! #enarabio #In2STEM #In2scienceUK In2scienceUK

Sunday is World Cancer Day. At Enara Bio, we are proud to be at the cutting edge of the global effort to prevent, treat, and cure cancer. We are committed to our goal of finding novel immunotherapy targets from the Dark Genome and developing innovative treatments that will improve survival outcomes for cancer patients. To mark World Cancer Day, this week our Sports and Social Team arranged our first charity morning of the year. It was great to take time to raise money for charities that provide tireless support for cancer patients. A great cause that links so closely with the work we do at Enara. #worldcancerday #closethecaregap #DarkAntigens #DarkGenome #EnaraBio #Biotech
