🌍 Africa’s Untapped Potential in Drug Research 🌍 A recent article in The Guardian sheds light on a critical and inspiring conversation: ‘People didn’t believe Africa could be a source of innovation’: how the continent holds the key to future drug research (link: https://buff.ly/4fMO6E7) Kelly Chibale Kat Lay At eMQT we are proud to support this vision and actively contribute to positioning Africa as a pivotal player in global clinical trials and pharmaceutical research. Our mission? To empower African healthcare centres and professionals through training, site assessments, and education, ensuring they are clinical research-ready to meet international standards. But our goals reach far beyond research: we strive to create lasting benefits that touch all aspects of society—from knowledge development and job creation to improved patient care and economic growth. We believe Africa’s genetic diversity and unique contributions can reshape healthcare worldwide, benefiting all of us. eMQT is committed to promoting an inclusive, globally diverse approach to clinical research that prioritizes sustainable growth and better health outcomes for all. 🔗 Learn more about our work and vision at emqt.org.uk #GlobalHealth #ClinicalTrials #Innovation #Africa Shalom Ijeoma Lloyd MBE Tina Barton Nancy Meyerson-Hess Emily Moore Hannah White Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC)
