The West Yorkshire Combined Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daikin Comfort, Centrica, SSE Energy Solutions and Sustainable Building Services (UK) Ltd, to help create a greener region. This collaboration aims to accelerate the region’s transition to net zero by 2038, focusing on creating green jobs, improving housing affordability, and expanding sustainable energy solutions. Daikin will open three Sustainable Home Centres, providing training for installers and helping businesses and residents reduce energy consumption.
