✈️| Wind trial blows on to next phase. A prototype designed to generate renewable energy from the wind on our airfield is now being brought to the airport in partnership with Katrick Technologies Ltd. The panels capture wind energy as low-level turbulent and gusty winds pass through them. When introduced the prototype model will be in an area easily visible to passengers so members of the public can see the technology in action.
