The Victorian Government’s Critical Minerals Roadmap released today puts Victoria on the map as a global supplier of strategic minerals. The roadmap commits to a number of MCA policy priorities which will help Victoria seize the opportunity for jobs and regional development that our rare earths, antimony, copper and other minerals offer. It was great to join the Minister for Resources, The Hon Lily D’Ambrosio, at Australia’s only antimony mine - Mandalay’s Costerfield Operations - to launch the roadmap.

Fantastic community open day at Ballarat Gold Mine today. Over 1,000 people are attending which shows the interest and support for mining in Victoria. Country Fire Authority, Balkarat Historical Society, Lions Club and more community groups are taking part. Ballarat Gold Mine supports thousands of local families and businesses in the region employing locals in good jobs and supporting local businesses including Ballarat’s world class METS sector exporting globally.
