As some of you know my cousin Simone passed away last month from methanol poisoning whilst on holiday in Laos. Some of you may have seen this on the national news. Simone was a great fundraiser for many charities and so in her honour my uncle has created a just giving page. If anyone is feeling generous I’m putting a link below. It's essential to engage young minds and equip them with the skills needed to excel as contractors in the energy efficiency sector, which promises a bright future. If we are going to get to net zero by 2050 then we must. Eco Approach is developing (currently under wraps 👀) a comprehensive training academy to introduce young individuals to the field, teaching them vital skills to succeed and innovate in this industry. Key areas of focus include: 1️⃣Understanding the importance of consistent attendance and fulfilling work shifts. 2️⃣Developing effective communication skills and the ability to acquire new competencies. 3️⃣Navigating challenging work environments with resilience. ...plus many more. We want to cultivate a skilled workforce ready to contribute to the growing energy efficiency industry. Working with companies like Preston Community Network and Glenn McDonnell helps us do this in Preston and i'd love to speak to others that can help us get more people into the industry. 🏠💟
