We're kicking off 2025 with some professional photographs of Skegness Community Diagnostic Centre! 📸✨ 🏗️🏥🌳 The £15 million facility opened to patients at the end of last year, bringing a number of NHS diagnostic services to the town for the first time, including state-of-the art CT and MRI scanners, echocardiograms, non-obstetric ultrasound and dental X-ray. We’re proud to share the successful completion of the new Oldham Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Modular Endoscopy Facility! 🎉 This two-storey, state-of-the-art building represents a major advancement in providing faster, more accessible diagnostic services to the community helping to speed up diagnoses for cancer patients. The facility includes: - Three advanced endoscopy rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology - Four consulting rooms, recovery zones, a patient waiting area, and supporting ancillary spaces This purpose-built unit will enable quicker access to life-saving diagnostic tests, improving outcomes for patients in the local community. Thanks to the incredible collaboration between the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, MTX Contracts Ltd, DSSR, DAY Project Management, DAY Cost Management Ltd and the entire project team. Amazing news that the North View project, which DAY PM provided NEC Project Management services for, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce award for Building of the Year! This is testament to the outstanding work which the whole team has put into this incredible project from the outset. We’re up against some stiff competition which shows how high profile this award is and how difficult it is just to get shortlisted in the first place!

As we near the christmas break it’s been great to give thought this week to the last year working in the Healthcare sector and reflect on some of the positive achievements and milestones that we have achieved over the year as a project team. 🎄 Christmas Jumper Day! 🎄 Yesterday was all about spreading joy and embracing the festive spirit! Every December, people across the UK don their fancy festive jumpers in workplaces, schools, or when gathering with friends and family. Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children UK's annual initiative that raises funds for children in need. Donations support children living in poverty and conflict zones. Since its launch in 2012, the event has raised an incredible £30 million to help children worldwide. It’s not just a fun tradition; it’s a meaningful way to make a difference. 🎉 The Skegness CDC has officially opened its doors! 🎉 This state-of-the-art £15m facility will provide an extensive range of diagnostic services, including four key imaging modalities: MRI, CT, Non-Obstetric Ultrasound (NOUS), and Digital Radiography. Additionally, it offers advanced physiological measurement tests, such as Neurological and Cardiac assessments, to support crucial clinical pathways. The CDC also features versatile clinic spaces and operates seven days a week, ensuring accessibility and convenience for the local community. A huge shoutout to our incredible team members, Phil Davies (MCIOB, MAPM) and Adam Nevin, whose dedication and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this project to life. Reflecting on the project, Phil shared, “It has been a pleasure to work alongside such a fantastic team. The speed and collaboration involved in delivering this project are truly remarkable. There have been some real positives for the communities of North Manchester during the construction of our newly operational inpatient mental health hospital, North View, which was built with project management support by DAY Project Management. Throughout the construction period of the development in Crumpsall, DAY PM were keen to provide positive social outcomes for the local community.
