Last night was truly special! I had the privilege of speaking at the CyBlack Internship September 2024 Graduation Ceremony, sharing my journey into cybersecurity and reflecting on how instrumental CyBlack has been in shaping my career. Dr Iretioluwa Akerele's words resonated deeply: “The more we are, the farther we go.” To the incredible new graduates stepping into the world of cybersecurity, I leave you with a few thoughts to carry on this journey: 1. Stay humble and embrace lifelong learning – the field evolves every day, and so should you. 2. Nurture your curiosity – it’s the driving force that will make you stand out as a cybersecurity professional. 3. Collaboration is key – together, we grow stronger as a community, learning and feeding off each other’s knowledge. 4. Take pride in your unique journey – draw inspiration from others, but never lose sight of what makes your path yours. 5. Believe in yourself – success is a matter of persistence; doubt has no place here. To the graduates: The cybersecurity industry needs your skills, ideas, and energy. Go out there, make an impact, and never stop pushing boundaries. Congratulations to the CyBlack September 2024 cohort! Your future is bright, and I can’t wait to see the amazing things you achieve. 🚀

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Brute Force Attacks from LetsDefend! This wasn’t the usual pcap analysis I’m used to—this challenge truly challenged me. Along the way, I discovered the power of the "Find" feature in Wireshark and learned cool, faster techniques to streamline my workflow compared to my usual approach. When the going got tough, I didn’t let frustration hold me back. I took a step back, looked up a write-up for guidance, and pushed through instead of getting stuck or feeling hopeless. 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭! 🌍✈️ Hello, London 🇬🇧 After 13 incredible years in Nigeria—where I grew from a young boy who moved from Congo-Kinshasa into a young man—I’m thrilled to share that I’ve relocated to London This move marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter filled with possibilities, growth, and fresh connections. Looking back on my journey in Nigeria, I am filled with gratitude: 📚 I completed secondary school and earned a degree in Computer Science. 💻 I explored diverse roles, from WordPress website design, frontend development, IT Networking, digital marketing and graphic design to cybersecurity, where I honed my skills at Coronation Merchant Bank. 🤝 I had the privilege of building amazing connections with remarkable people like Alvin Okoro, John Achimugu, Nnaji Daniel, David Ojei, John Oba, Chima Ekwonwa, Gloria Roberts, my CISO Feyijimi Adewole, CISO Joy Omoruku, Dotun Dairo and Lucky Ebere just to mention a few—each of whom has been instrumental in my journey. One of the highlights of this transition is being shortlisted for an internship at CyBlack (fingers crossed for January 🤞), where I’m eager to continue making strides in cybersecurity. Now, as I step into London’s winter—a season of grey skies and brisk winds—I’m filled with optimism. Each new street, conversation, and opportunity smells like potential. This city is known for its innovation, diversity, and vibrant energy, and I’m ready to embrace all it has to offer. To my friends and network in London: I’d love to connect 🤗 Whether it’s for coffee, industry events, or year-end meetups, I’m open to expanding my network and diving into the amazing opportunities this city has to offer. Let’s make this season count 🎉🌟
