  • Congratulations again to our incredible oncology team, who have been awarded with the national Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Quality Hallmark Award in recognition of the excellent end of life care they provide. The team received the award earlier this year at the GSF annual conference and awards - a celebration of the UK's exceptional health and social care providers for care in the final year of life. We were the first private hospital in the UK to be awarded the Gold Standards Framework Quality Hallmark Award in End of Life Care in 2022, and are delighted to be awarded this recognition again. This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care for our patients and their families during the most challenging times. • Did you know that 43% of all hip replacements in 2021-22 were for people aged between 50-69 years old?   It can be difficult for patients to decide when to have a hip replacement, but at Cromwell Hospital we offer the RapidRecovery hip replacement, which is an innovative, minimally invasive procedure that offers a shorter hospital stay and faster, less painful recovery compared to traditional surgery.   Unlike traditional hip replacements that often require several nights in hospital, 95% of RapidRecovery patients will be discharged home on either the same day as their procedure or the following day.    This service is led by globally renowned surgeon Dr. Kristian Kley, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Lead Specialist at Oveli Healthcare, provider of world-class advanced medical treatments in the UK. Patients can call us to make an appointment: 020 7244 4886   Find out more about the RapidRecovery hip replacement: bit.ly/3ZNRWHL
