As we look forward to the beginning of a new year, Cranfield Trust is reflecting on 2024 - another extraordinary year for the Trust 🫶 Celebrating our 35th anniversary in 2023-24, the Trust has provided more support than ever before. We started 527 new consultancy projects and mentoring assignments in the year, and had an unprecedented 919 projects active in the year in total 🤩 In challenging times, frontline welfare charities have needed support, and our volunteers and team have responded to their needs 🥰 We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, and to our funders and donors, all of whose generous support makes our services possible. We are committed to the small to medium size charities we support, and which we believe are a vital national asset, making an enormous contribution to our society 💗 You can read more about our work this year in our new 2032-24 impact report 👉https://ow.ly/lHcC50UpOpU

As 2024 draws to a close so does our 35th anniversary year and the celebrations of our #35YearsOfImpact 🎉 We have marked this milestone in the same spirit as we carry out our work – through our many and varied supporters, including staff, volunteers, funders, and charity clients 🫶 Activity throughout the year, including our first #CharityManagementMonth in May, our #35Voices story and the various #CharityChallenge35 fundraising events, has been a huge success. We are deeply grateful for the support and commitment from so many people to help raise both awareness and much needed funds to support our work with small to medium size charities, which we believe are a vital national asset 💎 As Patron of the Trust, HRH, The Princess Royal, continues to be an active supporter and advocate of our work. We are nearing the end of our 35th anniversary year 🎉 Voice 34 of our #35Voices story comes from our Head of Development, Joanne Madders: “Over my six years with Cranfield Trust, I’ve seen very many changes as the organisation has rapidly and, I think, considerately responded to some emerging and unprecedented challenges. “The Trust has developed new ways of supporting and working with charities and leaders, and we’ve sought constantly to maximise the value of our limited resources by delivering support as cost effectively and efficiently as possible. “Cranfield Trust’s culture and ethos of care, concern, insight and respect for our charity clients, alongside gratitude and appreciation for the contribution of our amazing volunteers, are a daily part of our culture, and I’ve seen my colleagues consistently reflect these core values. “As Head of Development, I am deeply grateful to our supporters and funders who believe in our work and understand the role that philanthropy plays in supporting charities to be the best organisations they can for the benefit of the communities they serve. “Time and time again, we have witnessed how their investment has made it possible for charity leaders and volunteers to bring their different skills and experiences to work on resolving difficult challenges. “The Trust has, I think, hit on a ‘magic formula’ for how to bring different people together effectively. “At its heart, Cranfield Trust is founded on a fundamental appreciation of the role that philanthropy and human charity play as part of a functioning society. Having the opportunity to be part of its work feels like an enormous privilege.” #35YearsOfImpact #FeelGoodFriday
