Now here's a challenge for you. Which sustainability acronym has the highest value in Scrabble?! The Sustainability Conversation is ever changing and as pressure builds for companies to adapt, new frameworks, methodology, reports, and initiatives become a part of the conversation. These green terms are often abbreviated. All very well, but for someone new to the climate conversation – it can be a lot to learn & can leave people feeling on the outside! Sustainability professionals must learn new acronyms and abbreviations all the time. It can be difficult to keep up to date. A good Sustainability Candidate will be an expert in adaption and every career in sustainability is a journey where learning is a key part of a role. These are some of the most popular 'need to knows' for sustainability professionals but to impact widespread change consider your audience in the conversation and be inclusive. We need to break down the silos and win stakeholder support, not alienate our audience with elite language, if we are to embed a change culture.
