Did you try to watch three TVs at once? That would be hard to focus right? but... that's what crypto trading feels like for most people... Here's what I see every day: Binance shows one price Coinbase shows another Kraken is somewhere in between etc... in the meantime ... Traders: ✔️ monitor 5 different exchange tabs ✔️ follow (at least!) 3 data feeds ✔️ track multiple order books ✔️ compare conflicting signals ....and then trying to make sense of it all.. What is the real cost? So.. while you're switching between tabs "The trade" already happened.. on an exchange you weren't watching It is not about watching everything... but crypto trading is about seeing everything that matters in one place in real time funy thought - would you fly a plane with instruments from different cockpits? obviously no! So why trade that way? The question isn't: How do I watch more screens? The question is: How do I see the whole market clearly? Order books keep updating... Prices keep moving... But... holiday trading is special. Sometimes... you can find surprising patterns under the tree 🎄 Volume drops but volatility doesn't... Order books get thinner... and... some of the wildest moves happen when most are away.. so be alert Christmas fun fact: Past Christmas periods have seen some of the most interesting price action... Not because of fundamentals,... but because liquidity takes a holiday too. So!... Before you trade during holidays... Check your data twice. Some feeds might be slower than reindeer... What's really happening: A 100 BTC sell wall appears at $102,300 Other traders see it and think: 'Better sell below that wall' Then the wall disappears 🤔 Price drops without the wall ever trading. Mission accomplished! This happens in three acts: 1. Place large visible order 2. Watch smaller traders react 3.
