🎄 This holiday season, BrokerChooser joined hands with the Meleg Szív Association to make a meaningful impact! Together, we delivered 21 durable food packages to families in deep poverty in Tápióbicske, Hungary, spreading warmth, hope, and dignity. From essentials like rice and flour to little joys like chocolates, these packages ensured families could celebrate Christmas with full hearts and tables. The smiles of children and the gratitude of parents remind us of the power of community and kindness. As we celebrate the spirit of giving, let’s continue to uplift and inspire one another. Celebrating Acts of Kindness and Collaboration! We’re thrilled to share this heartwarming initiative by the community of The British International School Budapest (BISB)! Together with their students, teachers, and families, they collected non-perishable food items and funds to support families in need and homeless individuals living in temporary housing. Their incredible efforts went toward providing essential items such as baby care products, healthcare aids, cleaning tools, and kitchen equipment—directly improving the quality of life for those in need. This inspiring collaboration highlights the power of social responsibility and compassion in action, something BISB deeply values and teaches to its students. We are proud to have facilitated this connection between BISB and SZÉRA - Szociális és Rehabilitációs Alapítvány, enabling such impactful change. 🥰 Ismét egy csodálatos dolog történt velünk: a The British International School Budapest közössége összefogott és az iskolába járó gyermekek és családjaik tartós élelmiszert és pénzt gyűjtöttek az átmeneti otthonainkban élő rászoruló családoknak és hajléktalan embereknek. 🙌 Az iskola nagy hangsúlyt fektet a társadalmi felelősségvállalásra és arra, hogy a gyermekek is megismerjék a társadalmi egyenlőtlenségeket és nyitottak legyenek a szegénységben élők felé. Ebből a célból rendszeresen működnek együtt civil szervezetekkel. ✔️ Az összegyűjtött tartós élelmiszerek már kiosztásra is kerültek az intézményeinkben élők között. Mindenki nagyon örült és hálás volt a segítségért. Az összegyűjtött pénzösszegből baba ápolási eszközöket, egészségügyi segédeszközöket, takarító eszközöket, konyhai felszereléseket vásároltunk, amelyekkel szolgáltatásaink minőségét tudjuk fejleszteni és célzott támogatásokat tudunk adni, azoknak a családoknak, akiknek a legnagyobb szüksége van rá. 🙏 Hatalmas köszönet Marta Balint-nak és a CoGoodwill-nek, hogy összekötött minket az iskolával és segítette az egész együttműködést. ❤️ Szintén szeretnénk köszönetet mondani a BISB diákjainak, tanárainak és a szülői közösségnek, hogy adományaikkal támogatták a családokat. 👍 Reméljük nemsokára ismét összefogunk egy jó ügy érdekében! The The British International School Budapest community came together as the children and their families collected non-perishable food and money for families in need and homeless people living in our temporary homes. 🙌The school places a strong emphasis on social responsibility, helping children become aware of social inequalities and encouraging them to empathize with those living in poverty. As part of this, they regularly collaborate with NGOs. ✔️ The collected food has already been distributed among those living in our institutions, bringing joy and gratitude to everyone involved. We used the collected funds to purchase baby care items, healthcare aids, cleaning tools, and kitchen equipment, with which we can improve the quality of our services and provide targeted support to those families who need it the most. 🙏A huge thank you to Marta Balint and CoGoodwill for connecting us with the school and facilitating this collaboration. ❤️We would also like to thank the students, teachers and parents of BISB for supporting the families with their donations. 👍We hope to join forces again soon for a good cause!

Donating ≠ Decluttering Many of us think that by donating unwanted items, we’re “decluttering” our lives and homes. But what if we're missing the bigger picture? Instead of just passing on items we no longer want, we should be asking ourselves how much we truly need in the first place. ✅ Be more intentional: Donating isn't a solution to overconsumption. It starts with being mindful of what we bring into our lives and reducing unnecessary purchases. ✅ Donations with purpose: When we do donate, we should think about how our contributions can support those in need and organizations that create meaningful impact, like CoGoodwill.
