It’s true, there are no friends in business. One of the hardest lessons we’ve learned over the years is that some people are only out for themselves. In this industry, especially in Teesside, we’ve worked with individuals we once thought we could trust — only to find out that they were willing to step on anyone to get as much money for themselves as possible. People will give up their integrity, relationships, and even their reputations just to get ahead. It’s happened to us at CPS personally, and it’s something that doesn’t sit right with us. We wouldn’t dream of doing to others what some people have done to us, it’s not how we do business. It’s a hard truth, but one that comes with the territory. People can be ruthless when it comes to climbing the ladder, and that’s something we’ve had to deal with year after year. There’s no room for shortcuts in this industry. The work is hard, the pressure is high, and the stakes are even higher. But that’s what separates the real from the fake. Here’s to 2025 with the people in our corner from day 1 🥊
