About us
In 2018 Funmi Lawal identified a need. Funmi observed the difficulties people with limited mobility experienced when dressing, she knew she could create a solution to make their lives easier. With determination and a drive to help, research began. Initial Concept Funmi’s concept was underwear that can be worn without the need to bend down. With human factors and ergonomics informing every stage of the process, Funmi collaborated with the best design team for the task. The focus was to produce practical yet stylish underwear for men and women that negated the need to bend or stretch when dressing. Concept Development Funmi and the design team worked on Clip Knix™ and developed female underwear that can be fastened at the front without the need for bending. Funmi and the team have answered this need through pragmatic approach, robust testing and meticulous design. The result is a triumph which will revolutionise the lives of many people. Result An adaptive front fastening underwear for women, that negates the need to bend or stretch. It can be worn sitting, standing or lying down.

The festive season has come to a close, and now it’s time to face the reality of our everyday lives once again. The joyful buildup to Christmas, filled with bustling trips to the mall, festive decorations, and warm family gatherings, has faded into a distant memory. The excitement of New Year's celebrations and all the heartfelt exchanges of wishes have now settled into a monotonous routine. As I navigate through this first month of the year, I find myself repeatedly encountering the same social inquiries—“How was your Christmas?”—from friends and colleagues. Every business email I open continues with the customary salutation of “Happy New Year,” a reminder of the familiarity that January brings. It feels like I'm on a never-ending cycle, and I can’t help but think that I have at least another fifty of these Januarys ahead of me. In these moments, I remind myself to embrace the present and live fully. Funmi, a gentle whisper in my mind, encourages me to find joy in the midst of the routine.
