In every commercial kitchen, in every country in the world, there's someone whose job it is to scrub pots, pans, utensils and anything else that's been heavily soiled from cooking. It's a job no one wants, and a job that everyone hates, and yet they do it, because there's no credible alternative. I had lunch with my dear friend Jim Gouldie on Tuesday at The Hare and Hounds in Torquay, a restaurant I've been visiting for the last 35 years, only to discover they have 5 of these poor souls 😯 The problem is, it costs businesses money, and it costs the environment too, with gallons of water and energy being unnecessarily wasted every single day. But all of that is set to change, radically impacting the Foodservice/HORECA industry, as well as Hope4❤️ Following on from my announcement yesterday, and working with Hope4 Board colleague Ryan Singlehurst, we have launched Clear Cook, a simple, yet effective system that eliminates the need for "Pot Washing". Hope4 just got Limited In another milestone moment, my beautiful wife Zoe Lomas and I opened a Limited Company in Moldova, called, unsurprisingly, Hope4. Hope4 Business is apart of the new initiative to take direct action to help fund Hope4❤️'s meteoric growth, without diluting a single penny of your incredible support. Most of my career has been spent in Foodservice, working my way up through the ranks where I became UK Sales Manager for Portion Solutions Limited formerly Single Source, before starting my own company which saw me venture onto the BBC2's Dragons' Den.
