About us

Build inclusive leaders and promote social mobility with Circl’s unique programme. Circl offers an inclusive leadership development programme using coaching skills to enable powerful conversations, promote social mobility and build more inclusive leaders capable of leading diverse teams. Our programme has been deliberately designed to create long-term behavioural change by bringing together business professionals and underrepresented young people (Future Leaders) to learn together. Professionals and Future Leaders learn together as equals to develop their listening, communication and empathy skills. It’s a uniquely effective way to help businesses build an inclusive culture while giving talented young people the skills they need to succeed, achieve their goals and become inclusive leaders themselves. We’ve already done amazing work with the likes of Meta, eBay, McKinsey, Trustpilot, Pepper, Depop, Landsec and Innocent.

  • 🎄✨ What a way to end the year! Our End of Year Christmas Party was a fantastic celebration of everything we achieved in 2024. We came together to share food, enjoy some friendly competition (table tennis got intense 🏓), and reflect on an incredible year of success.   • Today is the International Day of People with Disabilities. This year's theme is 'amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future'. At Circl®, our mission is to build a world where anyone, regardless of their background, can learn to lead. Two ways we elevate this mission are: - We aim to create a 'psychologically safe space' for participants of the programme and our alumni - We ensure our resources are accessible for all kinds of disabilities, and welcome any feedback to make our programme more accessible.     Congratulations to our 2024 Paul Rawlinson Award recipients. The Paul Rawlinson Award is a key part of our global socio-economic diversity program. This award honors our late Chair Paul Rawlinson’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for all. The Empower Program is a partnership between Baker McKenzie and social mobility charity Access Singapore. This initiative provides opportunities for disadvantaged students aged 17 to 19 to enhance their skills with guidance from industry leaders, thereby facilitating future career prospects. Through our partnership with Circl®, program participants have gained essential skills to coach and collaborate effectively with underrepresented individuals aged 18-24. This initiative supports the cultivation of future leaders. In a collaboration between AbbVie and Baker McKenzie, the AbbVie and Baker McKenzie Young Lawyers Mentoring Program supports young lawyers and law students from underrepresented groups. It provides mentoring, training, and networking opportunities across regions to develop career skills and connections. The TRW Institute is a non-profit project, run by Trench Rossi Watanabe, with whom we have established a cooperation agreement for consulting on foreign law. The institute provides access to legal education for disadvantaged individuals in Brazil. By partnering with NGOs, universities, and professional services firms, the program funds law and language education.
