We're celebrating a milestone – our 5th anniversary of the Festive Hamper Initiative, which has supported over 2,000 students with food, toiletries, and festive treats! 🎄 Our students, including those from Health & Social Care, Hospitality, and the Student Senate, played a big part in packing and preparing the hampers, gaining hands-on experience while spreading some holiday cheer 💫 This year, we're also proud to share that the initiative has been recognised by local MPs, who praised the positive impact it has on students and the community. This role will lead on the delivery and management of the Career Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) provision. Today we unveiled our new Sensory Space at our Crewe Campus! 🌿 Created with the support of the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership and the Beyond Children and Young People's Transformation Programme. The calming space offers sensory-friendly features like dimmable lighting, sensory egg chairs, and a nature-inspired mural. It provides a quiet refuge for students with neurodivergent conditions, helping them self-regulate and stay engaged with college life 📚 The project has been a collaboration between Cheshire College, the Beyond Programme, and expert colleagues across the NHS and Local Authorities, including Gill Tyler, Designated Clinical Officer for SEND at NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, who played a key role in connecting us with the project. #CheshireCollege #CCSW #SensorySpace #AdditionalLearningSupport
