Celebrating six months of success with the Highway1 at the University of Oxford! We are thrilled to share the impact Highway1 has made in Professor Fadi Issa's lab. Reflecting on the experience, Fadi shared: "Highway1 has been an absolute pleasure to use—user-friendly and efficient. After a short orientation, we were able to achieve Tregs of exceptional purity, significantly reducing sorting time by leveraging both 'enrichment mode' and 'purity mode.' We are appreciative of the technical support provided by the Cellular Highways team, particularly Scott Tasker, who has been key in ensuring this projects success" The results speak for themselves: starting with an input Treg frequency of just 15%, an output purity of 98.3% was obtained - quickly, easily, and with minimal cell stress. We're proud to support the groundbreaking research at Oxford and look forward to continuing to provide them with the technology and support they need as they advance their work in cell therapy. #Tregs #CellTherapy #CellSorting #Highway1

At Cellular Highways we are inspired by the insights shared by our sister company Cellular Origins, on tackling critical hurdles like labor shortages, flexibility vs automation, and reliability in manufacturing processes. Our Highway1 cell sorter is already addressing these issues by offering fast, gentle and sterile cell sorting - a crucial step in ensuring the quality of cell therapies. Together, we're shaping the future of this industry.

This week, Sammy Buttercase and Lotte Carr from the Cellular Highways team had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from the FACS Core Facility at Aarhus University to try Highway1. During their visit, they tested the system with their own cells and were impressed by its speed and ease of use, as well as suitability for higher containment labs. A key highlight from the demonstration was the small benchtop footprint of Highway1, a feature that often surprises visitors! Thank you, Charlotte Christie Petersen, Anja Bille Bohn, and Thomas Rea Wittenborn for spending the day with us. We look forward to continuing our work together. We are loving all our recent work with Flow Cores around the world, please get in touch to arrange a demo of Highway1 for yours!🗺 #cellisolation #cellsorting #flowcytometry #Highway1

After a succesfull demo in Cambridge a few months ago it was great to have the #Highway1 in Leuven so we could test multiple sample types for different downstream applications. - Super user-friendly (even for flow beginners) - unbreakable instrument/software (I tried 😅) - quick and easy set-up for last minute/second cell sorting (life at a flow core 😉) - automatic control of sort efficiency and automatic clogg removal - and most importantly, very promising preliminary results with previously “unsortable” cells!!! (Can’t spoil yet which 🤫 ) The easiest, fastest, gentle way to isolate low frequency cells from a primary tumour? I think we found it, amazing post-sort survival rates for all cell types of the tumour micro environment tested 🤩 Many thanks to Lotte and Sammy for their dedication, enthusiasm and support, one thing is to have a great instrument, but application support is equally (or even more!) important, there’s a great vibe at Cellular Highways, Salman Samson Rogers you assembled an amazing team of people❤️
📍Remember these familiar faces? Cellular Highways recently returned to VIB Flow Cytometry Core in Leuven, where Sammy Buttercase and Lotte Carr enjoyed a productive visit with Jochen Lamote and the team. Highway1 was put to the test, sorting a wide range of cells—from primary hepatocytes and lung cells to nuclei and tumor cells—with ease, thanks to our gentle VACS technology. We’re excited to share data soon! 📄 Visitors across the institute also experienced how intuitive Highway1 is to operate - no specialist training required. A big thank you to the VIB team for their expertise and enthusiasm, making it a great visit all around.👏 📨Curious to see Highway1 in action?
