As this year draws to a close, we have our latest edition of Circulate. We take a look at what we have been up to this month and review 2024. To catch up on the latest https://lnkd.in/etSaY_Sg We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Throughout this year we have been meeting members of our team to find out who they are and what they do at Care. Our latest contributor is: I’m Claire, also known as CJ (it makes life a lot easier when there are two Claire’s at Care!) I am the Business Development Manager for Care Housing. I love my role as it involves building relationships with external partners, whether that is local authorities, support providers, developers, investors, and building contractors, and anyone who knows me knows I love to talk! I like to get out and about to sites when I can to see first hand how our new developments are progressing, and seeing the end result makes it all worthwhile. Outside of work I have a husband and two children, as well as a very old deaf grumpy ginger cat called Paddy and a very spoilt cockerpoo called Trevor who often makes a visit to the Care office. I love meeting pets on Teams calls, so please always introduce them if you speak to me on Teams!

This week, saw the whole team in the office to undertake Autism, Learning Disability, and Mental Health Awareness Training. The aim of the training was to ensure our team could better understand our tenants. This included some of the challenges they may face, as well as appreciating their abilities and uniqueness as individuals. It was a great session, delivered by a very knowledgeable person, who has over 3 decades experience working in the sector. Getting together also gave us the opportunity to get our Christmas jumpers on and and hand out our secret Santa gifts.

Whilst our housing officers have been out and about visiting houses during December, they have come across some beautiful decorations that the tenants and staff have worked hard on.
