Coffee Cupping with Katja Klein, the founder of @kontextcoffeecompany who’s been supplying us with beautiful, sustainable, Single Origin specialty coffee since we opened our doors. What to expect on the day: We kick off with a brief and practical sensory training on basic flavour perception (salty, sweet, bitter, sour and savoury) before going through the process of a professional tasting session, sampling the coffees from Kontext Coffee’s current product range. In the coffee world this is called a ‘cupping session’ - it involves ground coffee, brewed directly in a cup, smelling, slurping, tasting and opening up your mind to the amazing range of flavours and tastes that coffee has to offer.
