We've got some FRESH news, just in time for Christmas 🎄 Back in October, we faced the ultimate challenge: an unannounced BRCGS audit (yes, the kind that keeps you on your toes). And we are delighted to share that we achieved an AA+ score! 🏆 But this wasn’t your typical "let’s keep everything steady and calm for the auditors" scenario. While they were carefully checking our processes, we were also: 🛠️ Installing our latest ovens in Rudie's Kitchen ✍️ Adding Ace’s Pantry (our shiny new fulfilment centre) to the audit 🎂 Celebrating a team member’s birthday with some delicious chocolate cake (food safety standards were still upheld – we promise) This AA+ isn’t just a score; it’s a reflection of our commitment to food safety excellence - something we are very serious about. Huge shoutout to the team for their hard work, and to the auditors for putting up with our kitchen multitasking! We just received the official certificate, talk about the ultimate festive gift 💛

As we wrap up this year's Disability History Month, we’re reflecting on the meaningful moments our squad shared to celebrate and better understand the experiences of those with disabilities 💛 Here’s a snapshot of how we came together: 🐾 Support Dogs Visit 🐾 The Box Office welcomed the incredible Support Dogs team, along with handlers Wendy and Chris and their pups, Penny and Charlie! From watching Charlie retrieve credit cards (yes, really!) to hearing firsthand how these dogs enhance independence and accessibility and even save lives. The session was as heartwarming as it was insightful. We gained a deeper appreciation for the remarkable work these dogs and their handlers do every day. ☕ Fair Shot Café: Coffee, pastries and purpose ☕ We also had the privilege of hosting Fair Shot Café, a trailblazing charity empowering individuals with disabilities through year-long internships at their Covent Garden café. Their team treated us to delicious breakfasts, freshly brewed coffee, and a healthy lunch – all served with purpose and passion. Hearing their stories reminded us how much of a difference opportunities can make for individuals facing unique challenges. This month, and every month, we’re committed to fostering inclusivity, raising awareness, and celebrating the contributions of people with disabilities. A huge thank you to Support Dogs, Fair Shot Café, and everyone who joined us in making this month so impactful. Here’s to learning, growing, and building an even more accessible future together 💛

Buddy’s rehoming was missing one thing—his friends at the shelter. But thanks to YOU, Smokie, Basil, Dumper, and the rest of the gang are enjoying Butternut too. For every sign-up, we donate a pouch to dogs in need. Because at Butternut Box, every dog deserves a taste of home this Christmas and beyond. Everything we do is for the love of dogs 💛 Every year at Butternut Box, our squad members have a volunteering day where they get an opportunity to support and give back to our local community and animal centres. From feeding and walking lots of animals (cows too, of course 🐮 ), building new facilities like an outdoor agility course 🛝 and cleaning up local spaces 🧹our squad demonstrate what it means to show #GenuineCare.
