A big thank you to all our customers and staff for helping to raise more than £600.00 for Save the Children on Christmas Jumper Day. Helping to kick off the Christmas season and get everyone in the holiday mood, customers were treated to a free Burton beanie or snood. The funds raised will help Save the Children deliver vital work to help every child get the future they deserve, working to make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning. Martin Armour, Burton’s Commercial Director said: “Christmas Jumper Day is an ideal occasion to bring customers together for a good cause. “It’s always good to see our customers face to face, and if we can share a mince pie and a beanie hat, even better! The money we’ve raised will help children across the UK and the world, which makes a great start to the festive period.”

Today marks the end of an era as we say farewell to our Chairman, Paul Hattee. He joined in 1993 as the Assistant Manager of York branch and became chairman in 2023. Our Liverpool branch took part in the Tough Mudda on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. This is something that has affected the branch closely, and they have taken it upon themselves to support this cause.
