Colin Briggs-Campbell Craig Mewse RIBA and Dan Heward to Directors, Samantha Jevons to Senior Associate, Beth Hodson to Senior Chartered Building Surveyor, Rebecca Jones to Senior Graphic Designer, Gerard Langley to Senior Forecourt Design Manager, Ben Stone and Nikoleta Daritkova to Senior Architectural Technologists. 👏 3 - Annual Staff Conference - we brought all our teams together for a day of team building, knowledge sharing and fun. 🎦🏆 4 - Achievements - Robert Sharples qualified as a Conservation Architect, Josie Brogan and Rachel Knight qualified as Architects. 🧑🎓👩🎓👩🎓 5 - Crypt Factor Finalists - Helen Walker and Colin Briggs-Campbell performed at the Crypt Factor at Elland Road in Leeds. 🎹 🎤 6 - Launch of Comprehensive Energy, Environmental, and Retrofit Assessment Services - with Robert Baxendale, Beth Hodson and Madelaine Bradley qualified as energy assessors and Ben Stone as a Passive House Designer alongside Dan Postill and Mark Hayton. ♻️ 7 - Adventures in Bergamo - our annual cultural trip saw 13 enthusiastic members of our team from all three offices go on an unforgettable cultural trip to Bergamo, Italy. Last Friday, team members from our Leeds, London, and Skipton offices gathered for a memorable party at Carousel in Leeds to celebrate the festive season 2024. One of the highlights of the afternoon was that each team member received a personal note of praise from a colleague, who wrote thoughtful messages, offering kind words and positive feedback. The afternoon then shifted to a more playful vibe, with plenty of arcade and social games to enjoy. There was also a spirited karaoke session where both seasoned performers and first-timers alike showcased their vocal talents. As the party drew to a close, the festivities continued with cocktail and mocktail-making sessions, offering the perfect end to an unforgettable event. Taking a leaf out of Emma Black's book with the lovely vlog's she has been doing. Me, Ben Stone BSc (Hons) and Matthew Stubbs had a great time yesterday at the ROSSETT SCHOOL careers fair in Harrogate representing Bowman Riley, Architects, Building Consultants, Interiors. Lots of students had great questions and some even managed to build taller marshmallow and spaghetti structures than ours! It was nice to get my old portfolios out again and show students what a career in architecture can offer. The staff were helpful and I managed to speak to the lady at the Royal Armouries Museum who let me try on some armour at the end!

Yesterday, our teams took part in Christmas Jumper Day 2024, a fun and festive event in aid of Save the Children UK. On Thursday 12th December, our team donned our silliest, sparkliest, and most festive jumpers to raise money for a cause that helps children around the world. Save the Children works tirelessly to provide life-saving support, education, and protection to children in need, and every donation helps make a real difference. To date, we have raised over £100.
