Yesterday evening an amazing group of volunteers came together to put on a wonderful sit down Christmas dinner for 110 community meal guests and once again it was a huge success! Our volunteers work extremely hard all year round but they really pull the stops out at Christmas to ensure everyone has a great time. So huge thanks to everyone involved from organisers to cooks, bakers and sandwich makers, pot washers, servers and general volunteers and everyone who takes the time to stop, chat and share a bit of Christmas cheer. Without such dedicated volunteers we couldn't do any of this and Christmas would be a lot less brighter for so many. Thank you all so much. #volunteersmakeadifference #thankyouforyoursupport #homelesslivesmatter #CommunitySupport #volunteers

Today we have two very special groups to thank for thier amazing work in support of Hope for Food. Ringwood & District Round Table went out with Santa and his Sleigh collecting food donations and did so well they had to deliver in 2 van loads! Amazing work by all involved and a wonderfully generous response from all who donated. The staff and pupils of The Purbeck School who responded to our appeal by collecting over 800 selection boxes - How incredible is that? Thanks to Carly and Simon for dropping them off. Thank you really doesn’t seem enough for such amazing acts of kindness but it comes from the heart of every person we support and all the volunteers here at Hope for Food. #thankyouforyoursupport #communitysupport #volunteersmakeadifference #foodbank #homelesslivesmatter #EndFoodPoverty

Many thanks to everyone who turned out to Westbourne Arcade on Saturday despite the awful weather to support Westbourne Rotary and Sound of Soul choir in raising funds for us. We managed to collect £329 on the day and the Rotary Club very generously topped it up to £500 which will make a big difference to us. Huge thanks to Pauline Bonanni and the choir. #thankyouforyoursupport #DonateNow #EndFoodPoverty #homelesslivesmatter #communitysupport

Today it’s a big thank you to all the lovely corporate elves from LV=, Ultra Energy and @PooleBayHoldings Ltd who came in this week to help us sort and get organised for parcel packing. Without these extra willing hands at this time of year we’d really struggle to get everything done so we really are grateful for the help. #volunteersmakeadifference #communitysupport #thankyouforyoursupport #helpingfamiliesinneed #homelesslivesmatter
